Rosaline F. Angelo Matt

Angelo Matt, Rosaline F., of Valley Park, Missouri, was born to Alfred William and Neva Mae (nee Amundson) Angelo and was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, February 13, 2023, at home surrounded by her family at the age of 76.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Ann Angelo.

She is survived by, her devoted children, Richard Allen (Jordan) Matt, Jr., and Marie Elizabeth (James Shanley) Zimmer, four (4) cherished grandchildren, Zakkary, Isabella, Adrianna, and Ethan, three (3) treasured siblings, Alfred William (Daphne) Angelo, Jr., Chuck Marshall (Debbie) Angelo, and Neva Marie (Bob) Willis, many nieces, nephews, cousins, students, and friends.

Rosaline was a High School graduate of St. Theresa Academy. She went on to get her Bachelors in Elementary Education from SIU Edwardsville where she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a devout Roman Catholic. Rosaline taught elementary at Cahokia Illinois School District for 35 years. She treasured the time she shared with her family. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation, Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis (63129). Funeral Mass, Monday, February 20, 2023, at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Avenue, Valley Park (63088). Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
