Rose Marie Ash

Rose Marie Ash completed her earthly journey and went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2026, in Webster Groves, Missouri. She was born on July 5, 1938, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Rose was part of a family rooted in Saint Louis. She carried forward their family name with quiet dignity. She was preceded in death by her father & mother, Palmer & Florence (nee LaPresto) Ash; her brother, John Ash; her sister, Mary Margaret Nesbit; and her grandparents, Louis and Josephine LaPresto.

She is survived by her brother, Palmer Ash; her nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.  In mourning her passing and cherishing her memory are those who knew her within the Ash and LaPresto families, and all who shared in the bonds of family across the years.

Rose enjoyed reading, going out to eat and talking to family on the phone for hours.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63129. A funeral service will follow there from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63123.

Rose Marie Ash will be remembered with love and respect, and her memory will remain a lasting part of her family’s story.
