Rosemary "Ro" Ann Dorsey

Rosemary Ann Dorsey (nee Hines), loving daughter of the late James W. and Mary A. (nee Burns) Hines passed away peacefully March 13, 2025.

Rosemary was the eldest of Jim and Mary's four children.  She was preceded in death by her younger brother James M. Hines.  She is survived by her sisters; Kathy (Jim) Hutson and Peggy (Al) Toczylowski.  Rosemary was loving called "Ro" by her family and friends.  She was the devoted Aunt to Joe (the late Chris), Dan (Kerry), and Matt Huston, Andy and John  Toczylowski, Anne (Paul) Keeven, Mary Fran (Rich) McGillicuddy, and Caroline (John) Rice.  Ro had a long and successful career, yet always made time for nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews: Paul, Christopher, Kieran, Nicholas, Ben, Ellie, Katherine, Jack, Sarah, Faith, Charlie, and Rosie. 

 Ro was involved in many and varied groups and easily made life-long friendships.  Those especially dear to her were her classmates from Incarnate Word Academy, bridge groups, travel and lunch groups, neighbors and many others, especially Sam and the late Pat Fitzpatrick, and the late Dave Kroupa. 

Rosemary donated her body to St. Louis University (her Alma mater).  A Memorial visitation will be celebrated for Rosemary on May 24, 2025 from 9:30 am until a Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 106 Meramec Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105.  Reception will follow after Mass in the Church Hall.  In memory of Rosemary Masses preferred.
