Ruth Margaret (nee Reuter) Burnett Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church passed peacefully into the hands of God on Monday May 13, 2024, at the age of 97. Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Harvey Burnett Sr., parents Fredreck and Margaretha (nee Hartwig) Reuter, brother William Reuter, and sister Grace (nee Reuter) Darr. Together with her husband, Ruth brought four children into the world, William (Patricia), Bruce (Patricia) Burnett, Harvey Burnett, Jr., and Karen (Martin) Burger, all of which she treasured deeply. She was blessed with four granddaughters who were the joys of her life, Katie, Jessica, Jamie, Kelly, and her grand dog Nick.

Dear mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 4pm until 8pm @ John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129).  Mass will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 @ 10 am @ St. Martins of Tours Catholic Church, 610 West Ripa Ave, (63125).  Interment following Mass to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  To honor the memory of Ruth please consider memorial donation to The Backstoppers.
