September 8, 1946 — February 28, 2021

Sandra Lou Hanna (nee Rice) beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home Sunday February 28th 2021.

Sandy Lou, as she was affectionately known, was born in Jonesboro Arkansas on September 8th 1947 to Clarice (Whitlow) Rice and Harrel Rice.

Sandy is preceded in death by her mother, Clarice (Whitlow) Trumbull; father, Harrel Rice; step-father, Earl Trumbull; as well as a host of other relatives.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Edward 'Allen' Hanna; daughter, Gina (Tony) Sandoval (nee Salamone); bonus son, Bob (Unsuk) Hanna; granddaughter, Lorren Kendall; grandsons, Bobby Jr, and Eric Hanna; brother, Rick (Karen) Rice; step-sisters, Joy (Rice) Cookson, and Alisa (Rice) Woolard; step-brother Sean Rice; niece, Rachel (Christopher) Quinteros (nee Rice).

Sandy spent the bulk of her life in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1965 where she was a social butterfly. She had many friends all over the Missouri area.

Sandy Lou was the most incredible, kind, funny, sweet, and loving lady. She had the most contagious laugh, and the most genuine spirit. She loved each of her family so fiercely.  Without a doubt we know her legacy of love will forever live on in each of us who loved her. She will be forever missed.

Due to current covid restrictions the family has opted for a private service.
