Sharon A. Carollo, born Sharon Gerliing on a winter day in 1943 in the vibrant city of St. Louis, Missouri, bid farewell to this world on a solemn day in Richmond Heights, Missouri. She was a woman of grace and dedication, who alongside her beloved late husband, Paul Carollo, ventured into the produce business for many fruitful years. Their labor of love could be witnessed at the bustling Soulard Farmers Market in St. Louis, where they nurtured their booth with care and commitment.
Sharon's passion for plants and gardening bloomed throughout her life, mirroring the way she tended to her relationships with unwavering love and devotion. Her family held a special place in her heart, bringing her immense pride and joy. Sharon leaves behind a legacy that transcends generations, touching the lives of not just her surviving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings but also all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A woman of remarkable strength and kindness, Sharon's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of crossing paths with her.
In celebration of her life well-lived, a visitation will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes South County Chapel in St. Louis on a day when memories will be shared and cherished.
