Currie, Shirley A., nee Facindini, passed away on Thursday December 14, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Walter Thomas Currie; devoted mother to Thomas A. Currie, Steven R. Currie, and Megan K. Currie; cherished grandmother of Savannah C. (Payton) Edwards, Thomas A. Currie Jr., and Susannah H. Currie; dear sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to American Cancer Society or Evangelical Full Gospel Assembly Church (11011 Tesson Ferry Rd. Affton, MO 63123).
Her visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Services will continue into the following morning, December 21, at Evangelical Full Gospel Assembly Church, 11011 Tesson Ferry Rd. Affton, MO 63123 with a visitation from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. funeral service. Interment in St. Matthew Cemetery following services.
