Shirley Patricia Flynn, nee Dunphy, 87, August 18, 2021. Daughter of William P. and Violet Dunphy, nee Sweetin. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Flynn Jr. Loving mother of John F. “Jack” (Jan) Flynn III, Victoria L. (Stewart) Wilson, William P. “Bill” (Debbie) Flynn. Cherished grandmother of Bill (Katie) Flynn Jr., Tom (Michelle) Flynn, Mike (Devan) Flynn, Katie (Patrick) Burkley, John (Kimberly) Flynn IV, Rebecca (Dyllan) Sourk, Dan Wilson and Sarah Wilson. “Granny” of Connor, Carter, Tommy, Alli, Jillian, Lucy and Samantha, sister to the late William P. (Anita survives) Dunphy Jr. and the the late Douglas D. (Judy survives) Dunphy.

Shirley loved St. Louis, sewing, feeding the birds, celebrating holidays, walking her dog “Wrinkles”, doing crossword puzzles in the Post-Dispatch, and paying attention to the details.
