Shirley Manhart

Manhart, Shirley Ann, 87 (nee Guzman) Passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Manhart; adored sister of the late Rita June Duncan, dearest aunt to six (6), cherished great aunt to thirteen (13), sweet great great aunt to three (3) and devoted friend to many.

Shirley loved Tina Turner’s music and Mexican food. She was a great cook and loved cooking in her early years. She was known to her nieces and nephews as Sergeant Shirl . Shirley enjoyed life and lived on purpose, having fun and being the life of the party. She would go out with her girlfriends every month. She loved taking her godchild out on adventures. Shirley was one to always smile and never complain. A very generous and loving woman.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. with Services, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., both at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois Avenue (63116). Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
