Theodore "Ted" Bedrosian, 65, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, surrounded by his wife, children, and mother-in-law. Born on January 13, 1961, in Saint Louis, Ted spent his life deeply rooted in the South City community he loved.
Ted dedicated his career to the Painters Union, where he worked tirelessly until his retirement. His craftsmanship and commitment to his trade left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Beyond his professional life, Ted was a man of many passions. He had a deep appreciation for old show cars and took pride in renovating homes, blending his love for design with his skilled hands. Ted also cherished time spent with family and maintained strong connections with his South City friends throughout his life.
To those who knew him best, Ted was more than a husband, father, grandfather, and friend—he was an anchor. A natural teacher and mentor, he exemplified that family is built through choice and devotion. His unwavering support and infectious dad jokes and laughter were the heart of every gathering. Ted celebrated every victory with enthusiasm and stood steadfast during challenges, offering strength and encouragement to those around him.
Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Kristal Bedrosian (Becker), who shared countless memories and decades of devotion with him. He leaves behind five children: Theodore R. DeMent (Kinyata), Melissa L. Bedrosian (Tim), Levi D. Bedrosian, Richard E. Bedrosian (Makayla), and Carmen M. Bedrosian. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
Ted’s extended family includes his mother-in-law Ayse Becker (Walter), brother-in-law Volkan Becker (Lisa), as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and bonus family members that enriched his journey.
He was predeceased by his parents, Fred R. Bedrosian and Serena M. (Saputo) Bedrosian; as well as by his brothers Fred R. Bedrosian, Peter “Pete” J. Bedrosian, and his father-in-law Walter H. Becker.
Ted’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and resilience—a testament to the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A Viewing will be held on May 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Ziegenhein 7027 Gravois Ave. Saint Louis, MO 63116. There will not be a burial service.
