Thomas Arthur Braun

Thomas Arthur Braun passed away on December 22, 2023, in his hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born on July 31, 1942, in the same city. Thomas was a devoted husband to Deborah Briggs- Braun and will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends.

 

Thomas was an IBEW Electrician with Local One. He dedicated years of his life honing his skills and contributing to the success of the Union. His commitment to excellence and precision made him highly regarded among his peers. Thomas's hard work and dedication left a lasting impact on those he worked with.

 

Outside of his professional life, Thomas had a variety of interests and hobbies.  He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, growing a large vegetable garden, feeding the birds and taking care of many cats.     

 

Thomas leaves behind an enduring legacy within his family. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Arthur Braun and Lorraine Braun. He will forever be remembered by his wife Deborah Briggs-Braun, who provided unwavering support throughout their journey together. .

 

Thomas will be deeply missed by his surviving family members and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah, sister Linda Orzel, daughter Karen Ribble, grand children Angie and husband Chris Zahner, Julianna, Joseph and Matthew, great grandchildren June and Wyatt, son Steve Braun, daughter Catherine (Kate Corrado ) Braun and her husband Michael Corrado, grand daughters Olivia and Sophia, stepson John and wife Laura Harvey, stepson Jerry Harvey and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. They will cherish memories filled with laughter, love, and lifelong lessons shared with Thomas.

 

Services to commemorate Thomas's life will take place on January 11 and January 12, 2024. The visitation will be held on January 11 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel located at 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116. The funeral service will follow on January 12 at 10:00 AM, also at the same location.

 

In Thomas Arthur Braun's passing, the world has lost a talented Electrician, a devoted family man, and a dedicated friend. His contributions to his profession and his commitment to his loved ones remain an inspiration to all who knew him. May his soul find eternal peace as his memory continues to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
