Timothy "Tim" Eveker, aged 50, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Tim was a man of immense talent, sharp intellect, and an incredibly rare depth of knowledge. As a gifted sound engineer, his reach was massive and his impact profound. He loved that his job allowed him to make a bad band sound good, a good band sound great, and a great band sound like an unforgettable concert. Beyond the soundboard, Tim was the ultimate “go-to” guy. Whether it was painting, plumbing, electrical work, IT, technology, or automotive repairs, there was seemingly nothing he couldn’t fix, build, or figure out. His philosophy in life was to use his knowledge to teach, validate, and lift others up. To know Tim was to know a man with a heart of gold. He was a true empath who quietly carried the weight of the world, always willing to give someone the shirt off his back even if he was freezing. Though life handed him heavy burdens—including chronic injuries, autoimmune diseases, mental health struggles, addiction, and the devastating loss of the love of his life, Kim, when he was 40—Tim navigated his journey with resilience and a smile that could warm the coldest soul.
His brilliant mind, generous spirit, and fierce love will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Tim is survived by his beloved family including his kid, Jay Eveker; parents, Barb and Larry Eveker; brother Ken (Cindy) Eveker; sister Kathy (Tim) Youngbauer; nephews, Steve (Elisa) Youngbauer, Patrick Eveker, Adam (fiancée Kayla Barton) Eveker; niece, Abby (Chaz) McPeek; great-nephews, Leo Youngbauer, Owen Youngbauer, and soon expected baby boy McPeek.
In lieu of traditional services, there will be a music filled tribute Celebration of Life in the near future. As they become available, details will be posted on Tim’s Facebook page. If you do not have Facebook, the details can be found on the following link: details. If you are a band or venue owner who would like to participate, please contact the family through Facebook.
