Trevelyn Watts Zander passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the age of 95. Born in Grand Ledge, MI he lived in Webster Groves and then Arnold, MO for over 50 years. Trevelyn is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 32 years. He was predeceased by his late wife Rosemary Colburn Zander. He leaves behind three children, Mahan Kalpa Khalsa, Rodney Zander, and Carol Metzenthin, and stepchildren Celeste Sanders Dryjanski and Matthew Sanders. A total of 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren rounds out the family scattered across the United States and Germany.
Trevelyn lived life fully. Both he and his late wife were pilots and had flown their small plane to Alaska. In the last 30 plus years he rode motorcycles, traveled by RV, participated in mission trips with his church, and enjoyed multiple Elderhostel Adventures. In 1999, Trevelyn rode his lawn tractor across country and up Pike’s Peak to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer. His first career was with HFC and after retirement created Air Adds Service, an airplane propeller business. Trevelyn never met a stranger and will be missed by many.
