He is survived by Patricia A. Rensing, mother; Terrain L. Williams, father; Olivia E. Page, sister; Jeremiah E. Williams, brother; Ta’Niya S. Williams, sister; Traveon L. Williams, brother; Milyn B. Williams, sister; Nasir Williams, brother; Demaris “Bird” Rensing, Granny; Lukota Williams, Granny; Addie Mooney, great-Granny; Cleo Williams, great-Granny; Jessie Charles June Mooney, grandfather; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.
Since the beginning of Tyree’s life, he lived for his family and loved them fiercely. He was born in St. Louis on August 11, 2007, with an undeniable love and affection. Not one to shy away from a cuddle, Tyree will be remembered by his family for giving the best “mushy lip” kisses from a young age and snuggling up on his mom’s face or rubbing dad’s lips to fall asleep.
As Tyree grew into a determined young man, he remained a comforting presence in the lives of his friends and family, especially his sister, Liv. His school career up to his sophomore year at Hancock High School brought him many opportunities, friends and hobbies. Tyree enjoyed wrestling, playing basketball, and baseball, but he especially loved swimming. From a local pool to Gulf Bay trips with his family, Tyree was content to be found splashing in the water.
Tyree will be greatly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him. It has been said that “He didn’t smile often, but when he did it lit up the room... He has an insanely beautiful smile.”
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Community Women Against Hardship or to the family of Tyree.
Tyree’s visitation will be held Tuesday February 13, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein South City Chapel 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116. A memorial service will be held the following day, February 14, at 11:30 a.m., also at the funeral home.
