Hart, Vernell P., of St. Louis, Missouri, was born to Walter and Pauline (nee Bouchart) Scharpenberg and was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in DeSoto, Missouri at the age of 94.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and the love of her life, her husband, Charles J. Hart, her two (2) brothers, Marvin Scharpenberg, Kenneth Scharpenberg.
She is survived by, her four (4) devoted children, Donna (Bill) Koeln, Charles S. (Nancy) Hart, Thomas (Sharon) Hart and Mike (Chrissy L.) Hart, her ten (10) beloved grandchildren, Scott (Kim) Koeln, Matthew (Jennifer) Koeln, Jennifer (Barret) Wright, Charles J. (Lisa) Hart, Christine (David) Kaiser, Jessica Hart, Hannah (Mike) Droege, Heather Hart, Jayden Evans, Mason Brouk, her thirteen (13) cherished great grandchildren, Melissa (Austin) Evans, Haley Koeln, Brandon (Sierra) Lewis, and Kayla Lewis, Chandler (Micahla) Koeln, Rylea Koeln, Jillian Wright, Jason Wright, Zoe Hock, Vanessa Hart, Brandon Kaiser, Dylan Kaiser, and Brynleigh Droege, her four (4) adorable great-great grandchildren, Nolan Evans, Andrew Koeln, Milah Grace Sheldon, and Ariah Koeln, dear in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Nell was devoted to her God and her church. She attended Mass daily and would watch it on TV as well. She treasured the time she was able to spend with her family. She loved them all. Nell worked as a cook for the Affton School District, and she really enjoyed it. She loved baking and cooking and did it well. Her biggest love in life was her late husband whom she took care of until he passed in 1992. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are appreciated or donation to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation: Sunday, November 13, 2022, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd (63129). Funeral Mass: Monday, November 14, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Seven Holy Founders, 6741 S. Rock Hill Rd (63123). Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
