Fortified in the Sacrament of the Holy Mother Church, Virginia "Ginny" Ann Gregali (nee Belfi) passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Virginia was the daughter of the late Virgil D. Belfi and Mary J. Belfi (nee Spadoni). The wife of the late Joseph M. Gregali.
She is survived by her brother Vergil L. Belfi (Avon, “Toots”). Beloved mother to Stephen M. Gregali (Jennifer), Mary C. Hassler (Paul), Laura A. Wingbermuehle (Michael) and Paul J. Gregali (Polly). Treasured Grandmother to Alaina Gregali Schuckmann, Jim Nova, Nico (Megan) Gregali, Sophie (Mike) Denslow, Andrea (Mark) Joyce, Michael Wingbermuehle Jr. (Rachel), and Philip (Amber) Wingbermuehle. Adored great grandmother "GiGi" to Hunter, Phoenix, Kade, Luke, Brayden, Mia, Joyce, Everly, Hudson, Drew, Newton, and Evelyn. Cherished aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews both near and far.
Throughout her life she was known for her unwavering love and kindness. To know Virginia was to be welcomed as family. Her door and her heart were always open. She made everyone feel like they belonged and had a seat at her table.
She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, grace and joyful resilience. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
To celebrate Virginia's life, all family and friends are welcomed to a visitation on Saturday, July 19, 2025 - 9:30 am 10:30 am at Mary Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63128. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org and NAMI www.nami.org.
