William Edward Eyermann, a cherished soul who graced this world with kindness and a thirst for knowledge, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024, in his hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on January 10, 1954, William's life was a tapestry of love, learning, and compassion.

William dedicated over 20 years of his life as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Veterans Memorial Hospital, where he touched countless lives with his healing hands and compassionate heart. His dedication to his career was unwavering, and his impact will be felt for years to come among those he cared for.

A lifelong learner, William's educational journey took him through SW High School as part of the Class of '71. He continued his academic pursuits at Meramec Jr. College, University of Missouri, and Maryville University. Described as a great student with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, William's passion for learning was evident in all aspects of his life.

Beyond his professional and academic achievements, William was known for his vibrant personality - always kind-hearted and full of life. His love for animals shone brightly through his proud membership in PETA, showcasing his commitment to protecting and advocating for the welfare of all living beings.

In his leisure time, William found solace in two beloved hobbies - bowling and fishing. These activities not only brought him joy but also provided moments of peace and relaxation amidst life's hustle and bustle.

William is survived by a large and loving family who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. Among the surviving family and friends are his nephews Mark Curry Jr. and Jeffrey (Shannon) Curry, his cousins Ed (Susan) and Cookie (Lee), his great nephews Alex & Gavin Curry, his loving sister Jeanill Curry, and many second cousins, extended family members, and friends.

He is now reunited with his parents William & Jeanette Eyermann in the eternal embrace of peace. Among those welcoming him on the other side are his dear cousins Hank & Shirleen.

The legacy of William Edward Eyermann will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him - a compassionate healer, a lifelong learner, and a beacon of kindness in a sometimes tumultuous world. May he rest in eternal tranquility.

There will be a private service to celebrate William's life.
