Bruce Haag, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 10, 2024 in St. Louis, MO, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments. Born on December 2, 1950, in St. Louis, MO, Bruce lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Bruce was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving his country with honor and dedication. His service shaped him into the resilient and steadfast man that he became. Bruce's commitment to his country carried over into every aspect of his life.

Outside of his military service, Bruce found solace and joy in nature. He had an undeniable passion for the outdoors and embraced hobbies such as fishing and duck hunting and NASCAR. 

Bruce will forever be remembered as a dedicated family man who cherished his loved ones above all else. He is survived by his loving wife Diann Haag (nee Rupkey), their children Sam (Tiffani) Haag and Shawn (Christine) Haag, as well as his stepchildren Dan (Chrissy) Monroe, D.J. Monroe, and Tom (Francesca) Monroe. His thirteen grandchildren brought immense joy to his life, filling each day with laughter and love. Additionally, Bruce leaves behind two great-grandchildren whose smiles could brighten even the darkest of days. His nephew Mike Kampmeyer also mourns his loss along with countless extended family members and friends. 

A visitation will be held on February 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel located at 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129. A funeral service celebrating Bruce's life will be held on February 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM, also at the South County Chapel. Following the service, Bruce will be laid to rest with military honors at St. Trinity Cemetery, located at 2160 Lemay Ferry Road in Saint  Louis, MO 63129.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Bruce's honor to Siteman Cancer Center.
