William George Langendorf

William “Bill” Langendorf passed away on Monday June 26, 2023, at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his mother Wilma Langendorf-Mintner, step-father Ted Mintner, as well as his father Paul Langendorf. William is survived by his beloved wife Kristy Langendorf, nee Lauer; sons Jeff (Hannah), Mike (Brittany), and Joe Daesch; grandchildren Cody, Kelly, Brayden, Dominic, Jaxson, and Zoey; dear siblings Ken (Nina) Langendorf, Kathy Schmidt, Vicki Kniffin, and Paula Hensley (Cliff); William is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and many, many dear friends. 

A member of Machinists Local 777 and Mechanic who retired from Paul Cerame Ford. Bill was known to be handy not only with cars but with all tasks requested of him; he was a Jack of all trades. As a Harley Davidson enthusiast he designed and customized his own motorcycle. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and hunting, he was a member of the NRA. Bill never knew a stranger and was very giving and always helping people.  Bill was especially known for being a cherished PawPaw (with pretty toes) and a loving uncle. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer’s Association. 

Visitation Sunday July 2, 2023, 4-8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63116. Funeral service the following morning, July 3, at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home.
