Obituary

William Douglas Rabbermann entered into rest on April 9th, 2026 at the age of 26. He will be remembered as a Beloved Son, Little Brother, Uncle, and Friend.

William was brought into the world on October 4th, 1999 to the joyous reception of his parents and two elder siblings. In a family of loud-mouth extroverts, William was a quiet presence. Will could often disappear in the background, but those who paid close attention would be rewarded with his incredible wry witt. His jokes made you feel like you were being let in on a secret.

William had an early and natural aptitude with computers. In his free time he taught himself Linux operating system including GCC Toolchain, POSIX shell, and Git to manage it, programming languages like C, and upgrading systems by interfacing with motherboards, adding RAM, or changing processors and graphics cards. He briefly attended Missouri S&T for computer science before coming home to pursue various online certifications. He shared a love of video games with his older brother and nieces.

William had a small business repairing and reselling electronics on ebay, but he dreamed of dozens of potential futures for himself. He thought perhaps he would be a botanist, or photographer, or computer programer, or or tradesman. He wanted to learn languages– Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic. He planned to travel– see Canada, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon. His family wanted any of those things for him, but most of all for him to find lasting happiness.

William loved animals; He adored all his family dogs, but had a particularly close relationship with his cat, Kiki. She was his constant companion until her death on June 5th, 2022.

William is Survived by his Parents, Allen and Ann Rabbermann, his Brother, Wade Waldmann (Rachel Waldmann), and his Sister, Sara Rabbermann (Andrew Huntley). He is remembered as a loving Uncle to his Nieces, Aubree, Aurora, and Autumn. William was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adolph Rabbermann, Bernice Rabbermann, Arnold Terrill, and Ruth Terrill.
