Barbara Easton

November 30, 1939 — January 17, 2022

Barbara A. Easton, nee Werges, 82, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, surrounded by her family. She lived a long life. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfrid and Lucille (nee Brauns) Werges, her husband of 56 years James, her sister Deborah Corrigan, and her great-grandson Alejandro Gomaz.

Barbara is survived by her children, Daniel (Vicki,) Denise, David (Maureen,) Dennis (Phyliss,) Donald, her grandchildren, Danielle, Ashleigh (Daniel,) Tanner, Tyler, Christopher (Katherine,) Jedediah, Kathryn, Lyndsey (Brandan,) Justine (Adam,) Jackalyn (Carlos,) Jennifer (Jesus,) Joseph, Jaimeson, Julleeanna, Charles, and Emma, her brother, Steven (Diane,) as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Barabara and James were high school sweethearts in St. Louis. James’ career in the U.S. Navy had them crossing America as she raised their five children. Barbara loved Virginia Beach as well as the desert of California. Barbara enjoyed time on a beach as well as on a dirt motorcycle. Her greatest joy was watching people eat her wonderful food. She was known for her yummy baked goods that she was always preparing for family and friends.

Services: Visitation Friday, January 21, 2022 from 8:30 am -10:30 am at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63116 followed by interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
