Barbara Moore

Barbara Joan Tepe Moore, 82, Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on October 15, 2021. Daughter of the late Henry A, and Barbara T., nee Mohr, Tepe; wife of the late Robert P. Moore Jr.; mother of the late Michael Moore, mother-in-law of the late Michelle Moore; sister of Kathy (the late Don) Deachan, Henry M. (Rose) Tepe, and Robert Tepe; sister-in-law of Cindy Burgess; aunt of Yvonne, Tim, Darren, Amy, Molly, Natalie, Diana, Joyce, Gregory, Colleen, and the late Penny; great aunt of Andrew, Nicole, Ryan, Connor, Carson, Caroline, Charlotte, George, Phillip, Valerie, Astara, Riley, and Sydney; cousin of Lanny, Cathy, Emily and family, Anne and family, Andy, Eric, Carolyn Jane, and Janet; God-Mother of Yvonne; friend of the late Carolyn, Janet R., Mary Jane, Marion, Ruth, Carole, Norma, Marian F., Mike, Atifa, Margie, Karen K., Sandy, Irene, Mary Ann F., Phyllis H., friends at St. Stephens, and Shirley and Pen Pals.

Barbara was a proud graduate of St. John the Baptist High School Class of 1957, a devoted and active member of St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church, and 10 Toes Walkers. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Barbara volunteered her time with many ministries at St Stephen’s and many local food pantries. She enjoyed attending The Muny, concerts in the park, and going to the History Museum, Zoo, and Botanical Garden. Barbara liked to listen to KMOX and watching FOX 2 News. She was very social and was the ultimate “Big Sister”.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Darryl Zinck, the 4th floor ICU staff and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital, and other physicians for their care and kindness.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or in the form of Masses.

Services: Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Friday, October 22, 2021, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4200 Delor St. Interment in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. www.ziegenhienfuneralhome.com
