Bobbie Anderson

Bobbie Lou Anderson, nee Vaughn, 88, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022, with her loved ones by her side.  Dear daughter of the late William and Pearl, nee Jones, Vaughn.  Loving wife of the late Donald Anderson Sr., and devoted mother of Donald (Kelly) Anderson Jr., James Anderson, Gregory (Nancy) Anderson, Julie Anderson, and Elisa Anderson. Beloved sister of the late Eugene Vaughn, the late James Vaughn, the late Eileen Swope, and the late Betty Rosario.  Cherished grandmother of 14, and beloved great grandmother of 10.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Labrada Vaughn, as well as many other dear relatives and friends.

Bobbie was a faithful Christian who loved her family dearly. She was deeply devoted to her late husband, Donald Anderson, and has longed to be reunited with him in the hands of the Lord.  She loved her dog Queeny, gardening, and feeding and watching wild birds.  Bobbie also enjoyed antiquing and decorating her home. She will be forever loved and cherished by her family and friends.

Memorials are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , Shriners Hospitals for Children , or Samaritan’s Purse International Relief .

Visitation will be from 4pm – 8pm, on Monday, June 27, 2022, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO, 63116. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
