Catherine Haman

On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, Catherine Mary Haman (nee Denney), passed away peacefully at age 83 surrounded by her family. Catherine was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Haman, Sr. Catherine was born November 24, 1936 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert Denney and the late Katherine Flueck (nee McKinney). She was married to the late John Haman, Sr. for 56 years, and she passed away on what would have been their 59th wedding anniversary. Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her six children, Rubin (Linda) Haman, Angelique (Thomas) Boettigheimer, Mitchell (Kimberly) Haman, Catrina (James) Jones, John (Angela) Haman, Jr., and Theresa (Tommy) Brewer. Catherine had 21 grandchildren; Gregory Haman, the late Melissa Haman, Joseph (Elizabeth) Haman, Jennifer (Marcus) Cobbs, Anthony (Kathryn) Boettigheimer, Matthew (Marci) Boettigheimer, Lauren (David) Rea, Lindsey Boettigheimer, Timothy Haman, Jessica Fritz, Bridget Haman, James Jones, Jr., Christopher (Courtney) Jones, Connor Jones, Megan (Ryan) Abramczyk, KC Haman, John Haman III, Michael Haman, Hannah Brewer, Tommy Brewer III, Mason Brewer. Catherine also had 21 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. She is the sister of Roberta Newby and the late Sam Denney. She was also a beloved aunt, great-aunt, niece and friend. Catherine liked to travel, play bingo and spend time with her family. Catherine was loved and cherished, and will be missed by many. Memorial donations may be made to BackStoppers, PO Box 795168, St. Louis (63179-0700). Visitation will be held from 9:00 am- 11:00 am on Monday, June 15, 2020 at St. Raymond Maronite Cathedral. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 15, 2020 at St. Raymond Maronite Cathedral. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
