December 13, 1954 ~ July 24, 2020 (age 65)

Obituary

65, Went to be with Jesus on Friday, July 24th, 2020. Loving wife of Mark A. Cutelli; beloved mother of Chrystal (Randy) Johnson, Donna Cutelli, Katherine Rose (Freddie Jr.) Spinks, and Joseph M. Cutelli; dear grandmother of Keira Lynn and Kaley Lauren Johnson; dear sister of Marcel (Donna) Boulicault, Victor (Laura) Boulicault, and Darell (Lisa) Boulicault; dear aunt of Janelle (Howard) Morgan, Curtis Boulicault, and Nathaniel Leon Boulicault; great aunt of Ignatius Meuhleisen. Loving cousin, friend to many, and pet-parent to Spike.

Denise was born to Noble Leon and Lois (nee Phillips) Boulicault and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Oak Hill Chapel as a child and graduated from Roosevelt High School in ’72. Denise won awards for her baking and later went on to careers in banking and office management. Her life revolved around God, family, and music. She attended The Rock Church in South County. She was a prayer warrior and her faith never faltered. Denise was considered “the glue of the family”. She loved researching her genealogy and finding new family. Some of her favorite memories were spending time with her cousins at Grandma’s house and baking Christmas cookies with her children, grandchildren, and nephew. Coming from a musical family, Denise filled her life with music. You could often find her blasting Motown and gospel, especially Aretha Franklin. She enjoyed ceramics with her mother, teaching her daughters and granddaughters embroidery, quilting, crocheting, going to Branson, and always looked forward to every family gathering. She is remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
