Diane Bryant

June 14, 1945 — July 14, 2020

Saint Louis, Missouri

Bryant, Diane Jacqueline, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born June 14, 1945, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Raymond and Irene (nee Link) Wolff and entered into rest Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 75 years and 1 month.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by, loving husband of 51 years, William C. Bryant, III, her three (3) devoted children, Anita (Glen) Todd, William S. (Sandy) Bryant and Tracey (Keith) Sidenstricker, five (5) loving grandchildren, Aaron Green, Sierra Miller, Joshua Knapp, Alec Bryant and Brandon Sidenstricker, one (1) great grandson, Brayden Knapp, as well as many other family members and friends.

Diane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. It was never a question on her passion for her family because her actions spoke louder than words. Diane’s role of the “true matriarch” shone through when she organized and held the annual family reunions, sewed dresses and outfits for all major events and weddings, as well as sharing her beloved recipes.

Diane’s husband describes her as a “super volunteer”. Being a forever citizen of the “Show Me State”, her hand was the first to go up when assistance was requested. Her time was spent volunteering as president of the Woerner’s School Mother’s Circle and Head of their Majorette’s performing troop. Her direction, leadership and talent would be clear during the many parades the troop performed in.

Her talents and devotion did not go unnoticed. Diane was hired by the National Girl Scouts Association after they had seen her seamstress skills of cookie costumes for her local council. She spent years volunteering to teach Scout Leaders arts and crafts and hosting events out of her childhood home.

Diane was helpful, giving, talented, and exciting. She enjoyed talking about her family that she was so proud of, The Girl Scouts, and her days of drag racing in her blue 1966 Chevy Chevelle. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
