February 12, 2021 12:57 PMAs a single person I found his advice often sound. He was my family minister. He preformed my marriage, blessed my children, and reminded me to live in the moment, not rushing to the next stage of life. I miss his gentleness and perseverance, his faith and joy.

February 11, 2021 8:09 AMI remember George as a kind and gentle soul with a twinkle in his eye. We shared good humor in some very comic situations. No matter how outrageous the surroundings, George just sat and smiled. A lovely man who will be missed.

February 10, 2021 9:50 AMI never met George, but I work with his daughter Ruth. She talked about him often during this trying portion of his life. It was very evident she loved him very much. I'm sure all who knew him (and even those who only knew him through others) will miss him. I'm very sorry for everyone's loss.

February 9, 2021 9:35 PMI remember George Jones to be a very kind and intelligent member of our church. He helped in so many ways. He cared about the Christian education of our youth. He was the expert for the sound system at the Kirkwood congregation. He greeted everyone with his sincere smile and made everyone feel welcome as they entered the church. He was always the same whenever and wherever he would go. He radiated God's love in his demeanor and personality. He was and still is always serving our Lord.
