James Edward Beckermann (Jim) was born on December 8, 1945 in St. Louis, MO. He precedes his loving wife, Carol Beckermann, in death after 45 years of marriage. He was a dear father who also preceded his son James Michael Beckermann in death. He is survived by his daughters Nancy Esparza-Lang and Christine Seevers (Brian) and son Jeffrey Beckermann. He was a dear grandfather of nine grandchildren; Mike Beckermann (Taylor), Keith Beckermann, Steven Schaefer (Christy), Emily Esparza, Nicole McCormack (Bobby), Alexandra Washington (Okoye), Rebecca Shinn (Ty), Eric Lang (Teresa) and Elizabeth Lang. He was blessed with eleven great grandchildren; Brookelyn, James, Carter, Caroline, Riley, Wrenn, Kori, Melanie, Cole, Noah, and Cassius. He will be greatly missed by family members, friends and also remembered as a great coached who taught many children to play and have passion for sports.
He was the best chocolate chip cookie making, coca-cola drinking, college basketball watching, sweet food snacking, mash potato making, and gambling man among many other memorable traits.
We all know that his wish, from his last letter to mom, “I pray that our spirits will be together in heaven”, has come true.
