Emblem

Joan M. Kane, the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary Eva O’Connor, passed away into the arms of Jesus on June 19, 2021.

She was raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts with her late brothers, John, Joe, and James O’Connor. Beloved wife of the late Bernard A. Kane for 64 years. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Mike (Kathy) Kane, Darlene (David) Surkamp, Barbara (Rick) Calcaterra, Laura Barbour, Buddy Kane, Tommy Kane, and Jeanine (Sam) Greco; dear grandmother to 19, great-grandmother to 21, dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Her interests in life, besides her family, were bowling, volleyball, country line dancing and cards; but her greatest love was bingo. She seemed to have the “luck of the Irish” when it came to bingo.

Her last few years were spent at Garden Villas South, where she lived the life of leisure. She loved her life there and all the wonderful friends she made.

She was very much loved and will be missed by many.

The family request, in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of your choice.
