Lou loved the Lord with all his heart and was His faithful Servant. He was a long-time member of Mary, Mother of the Church. He sang in the Resurrection Choir. When he was unable to attend Mass, he would watch it live-stream every day. He was a loving and loyal husband who gave the best hugs and was always ready to lend a helping hand to someone in need. He was a long-time member of the Gravois Kiwanis. He was fun to be with and had many friends.

Lou served his country in the Army and attended Washington University a few years after his discharge. His most rewarding volunteer work was being a Eucharistic Minister at church and taking communion to his homebound neighbors.

He retired as a Sales Representative from the Dyment Company which was involved in point-of-sale. After retirement he worked at Aberdeen Golf Course, then drove cars for Enterprise. He loved watching sports TV, and traveled with friends and family to many places such as Alaska, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Sweden, and Italy. The trip to Italy was his favorite and he always wanted to return. Vacations to Florida with dear friends and their children were always a highlight.
