Lois Finnegan

November 8, 1945 — January 17, 2023

Finnegan, Lois G, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Louis G. and Lucille (nee Davis) Holtmann and entered into rest Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 77 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Joan Hurt, Patricia Kiesel, Jackie (Tom) Finnegan, and Kathy Campbell.

She is survived by, her loving husband of 56 years, Joe Finnegan, three (3) children, Tracy (Jon) Reznik, Tammy Finnegan, and Joey Finnegan, six (6) grandchildren, Megan (Kyle) Avis, Alex (Julia) Tucker, Alan Joseph “AJ” Peterson, Mallory Finnegan, Aaron Finnegan, and Katie (Devyn) Miller, two (2) great grandchildren, Liliya Tucker, and Meira Tucker, two (2) siblings, her twin brother, Louis (Mary) Holtmann, and Neil (Barbara) Reed, other relatives and many friends.

Lois was a woman of faith. She loved being with her family and the time with her children and grandchildren she counted as joy. She looked forward to and loved attending family gatherings, picnics, and reunions. She had fun and would light up when she danced with her husband, her sister Jackie, and nieces. Lois enjoyed the many card games with relatives. She would spend her free time reading, listening to music, watching her St. Louis Cardinals, and crocheting. Lois liked to travel and really enjoyed Florida. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.

Visitation: Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Mass: Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Infant Catholic Church, 627 Dennison Drive, Ballwin, MO 63021. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
