Marden Riley

Riley, Marden Sr. “Mert” entered into rest on Friday, July 31, 2020 at age 88.  Beloved husband of Laverne C. Riley (nee Reinhold) for 65 years.  Loving father of the late Marden Riley, Jr. “Marty.”  Dear brother-in-law of John F. (the late Jacqueline) Reinhold and the late Doris and Leonard Kuhen, Shirley “Chickie” and Elwood Dunn and Bernice and Edward “Eddie” Frickel.  Dear brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Mert was proud of his service as a Sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Memorials to any Veterans organization are appreciated.

Services:  Visitation at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129) on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12, noon Tuesday.  Interment National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO with full military honors.
