Marie Kricho

November 26, 1938 — October 9, 2020

She never met a stranger and always a great friend.  She died October 9, 2020 and is now at peace in God's arms after 81 years.

Beloved wife of the late Charles F. Kricho;  Loving Mom of Joanne (Donald) Cooper, Michael (Denise), Thomas (the late Karen) and Gregory (Charlene) Kricho;  Adoring Granny of Emily (Amnes), Ali & Jordan, all of whom she loved "a bushel and a peck."  Loving Great Gma to Brody & Ben.  Dear sister to Robert (Linda) Ricks.  Our aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend.

She was raised in the Walnut Park neighborhood by the late William & Nora Ricks.  As a young mom (active in St. Adalbert's Parish) she was President of the Mother's Club, coordinated the Fall Festival, was a poll worker and even found time to make her toasted ravioli for a group of hungry policemen when Dad got off the late shift at the STLPD.

Later they moved to South St. Louis where she worked at Boatmen's Bank and had friendships with a great group of "Boatmen's Gals."  She volunteered at the Fox Theatre.  She loved her card playing buddies/long-time friends.  After her retirement, she greeted new Residents, coordinated Bingo and was the Party Planner at her apartment community.  She was a member of the Songbirds and loved music, dancing and her family.

Our family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley and Pathways Hospice/Palliative for all the times that you sang with her, hugged her and the great care you took of her as well as your love and support.  A special thank you to Chaplain Chris.

Mom, you will be missed.
