Decker, Richard Frank “Dick”

Saturday, October 26, 2019, at age 90. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Lee (Haberstroh), honored father of Dan (Sue), Tim (Jan) and Jody (John), beloved grandfather of Sam, (Tara), Timmy (Kim), Kate, Joe, Megan (Beau), Rick (Rachel). Cherished great-grandfather of Timmiest, Lydia, Trish, Evelyn, Alexis, Autumn and Jeannie. Dearly loved uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

A proud Marine veteran, Dick’s passion for family, church and golf (in that order) was his hallmark. Everyone he met became an extended family member and he proudly would say, “Call me Grandpa.”

He will be deeply missed by his family, his church family, his high school alumni family and his golfing crew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Redeemer Evangelical Church would be deeply appreciated.

Dick will be in state Friday, November 1, 2019 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Homes 7027 Gravois Avenue 63116, then Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Redeemer Evangelical Church 6450 S. Kingshighway Blvd. 63109 from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
