Kelly, Rita, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Henry and Alma Hoog and entered into rest Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 89.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband loving husband of 43 years, Jack Kelly.

She is survived by, her devoted daughter, Chris (Tom) Bujnak, six (6) grandchildren, Emma, Henry, Jack, Ben, Hayden and Ella, one (1) sister, Shirley (Fred) Lees, and many other relatives and friends.

Rita was an avid piano and accordion player and loved to share that gift with the people in her life. She lived for her grandchildren and cherished the time they were together. Her family and friends were always her priority. She enjoyed gardening when time would allow. You cannot talk about Rita’s life without mentioning her devotion to her late husband Jack. He had a stroke when he was young, and Rita took care of him until his passing 30 years later. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis (63129). Mass is Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church, 3949 Wilmington Avenue (63116). Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
