Sharon Shaver

December 30, 1942 — July 8, 2020

Sharon Kay Shaver of Arnold, Missouri passed away on July 8, 2020 after an extended illness.

Sharon was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 30, 1942, to Elmer and May Gamache.  She has one older brother, Raynard (Mary) Gamache and a twin brother, Gerald Gamache who preceeded her in death.

Sharon majored in Music at Truman State University.  There she met and later married Melvin Ray Shaver.  They were married on January 29, 1966.  One daughter was born to this union, Marsha Ann.  Sharon has two grandsons, Blake (Bethany) Fields and Kyle Fields.  She was also a great-grandma (GiGi) to two beautiful girls, Scarlett Aurora and Jocelyn Diana.

Sharon was a Christian and attended St. Paul United Church of Christ.

Visitation followed by a Memorial Service will be held on July 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis County, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to American Cancer Society and ASPCA.
