Terri Schaeffer

February 11, 1947 — July 14, 2021

Terri Lynne Schaeffer (nee Werner), 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. She was born February 11, 1947 to George and Evelyn (Jones) Werner. Terri is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Gerald “Jerry” Schaeffer; three children, Lisa (Patrick) Clarke, Craig (Renee) Schaeffer, and Corey (Nina Faletti) Schaeffer; six grandchildren, Madeline and Kaitlyn Schaeffer; Andrew and Matthew Clarke; and Michael and Emma Schaeffer; sister, Rene Werner; brothers Larry, and Mark (La Vanda) Werner; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Terri was an extremely proud mother and grandmother who loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. She and Jerry traveled to many different states and venues to cheer them on. When they had free time, they enjoyed spending it with family and friends at the lake, where they liked to boat, swim and fish. Terri also liked going to the beach, spending time in the garden, sharing secrets about her green thumb and trying her luck at the casino every so often.  She was patient and always willing to lend her ear. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation.
