Thomas “Bunky” F. Speck, 68 died Sunday, September 22, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, MO

He leaves his wife of 43 years Melody (nee Sauer) Speck, his siblings, Kathy Bier (the late Joe) Joan Jorgovan (Jeff), John Speck, and many other loving brother/sister in laws, nieces, and nephews, cousins, and other, family & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Speck, Sr., Jean (Rottnek) Speck and siblings Danny Speck and Kenny Speck.

Tom was born and raised in St. Louis, MO.  He graduated 1969 from St. John the Baptist.  In 1970 he was drafted into the Army.  After serving his country, he became a piano technician.  In 1982, he became an EMT for Gateway Transportation where he retired June 2004.

Tom was passionate about music, movies, photography, and video games.  He loved traveling with close family and friends, spending winters in Florida, and cruising as often as he could.  He was a beloved Uncle who relished spending time, teasing & joking with his nieces & nephews, always amazing them with his quick wit, funny nicknames, and other shenanigans … always wondering what was funny.  He will be greatly missed but left family a treasure of memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, this charity was special to Tom due to superb medical treatment for children.
