Ruch, Jr., Walter W., of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Walter W. and Martha Ruch, Sr. and went asleep in Jesus, Monday, January 3, 2022, at the age of 81.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his former wife, Linda Ruch.

He is survived by, his wife, Virginia (nee Milkert) Morgan Ruch, two (2) children, Steven (Paula) and Ronald (Jennifer), four (4) grandchildren, Katherine, Aidan, Adam, and Carson.

Walt was a devoted family man. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Walt served his Country as a member of the United States Air Force. When he was a young man, he loved boating on Lake Michigan. When time would permit Walt adored being in Arizona. He devoted 34 years to Liberty Mutual Insurance Company finishing as the mid-west regional manager. Walt enjoyed spending his free time reading and learning. After serving as a Reserve Police Officer, he enjoyed his hobby of collecting police patches. Walt was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial donations may be made to his church, Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9907 Sappington Road, Saint Louis, MO 63128.

Services will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO 63129. Visitation, Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Friday, January 7, 2022, with doors opening at 8:00 a.m. with Service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
