Condolences

I will always love you mom. We did our best to keep you comfy and aid in your passing. And, oh, say hi to dad for me. Love, your favorite son, Gary
-Gary Grisbeck

You are so loved and will be missed. So many fond memories of family fun and games with Grandma Jo.
-Derek

I'll always love and respect you and grandpa for helping take care of David and I during some crazy times. It's impossible to summarize so many years of good memories of you here, but rest assured you are remembered and loved. Oh, ok, let me roll some of the good ones off here: playing nerf basketball in that tiny hallway, that giant metal swimming pool, feeding ducks at the zoo, your German Shepard "Girl", watching cardinals jumping around on the fence, playing hide-n-seek with all the neighborhood kids, catching fire-flies, that scary stuffed barracuda, playing pool in the basement, Pennye's crazy rabbit "Patience", listening to the "Haunted Mansion" soundtrack in the backroom, the challenging one-bathroom 7-visitors chaos, and on and on. But most of all, thanks for teaching me to embrace my Hungarian vampire heritage : ) Love, #1 grandson PS: Tell Grandpa I said hi as well.

I love you JoJo. The kids and I will always keep you with us in memories and love. I'm so happy you are finally with Wilbur- I know you've missed him!
-Lindsey

I have so many cherished memories of time spent with Grandma Jo. I see her now with Grandpa Wilbur, rocking together on the swing out in their backyard, all the spring flowers blooming, as doves coo softly from beneath the eaves of the back porch. It's hard to stop remembering when you start. I can recall the smell of freshly baked apple dumplings in her pink kitchen, as she bustled about with her apron on. I remember her love of animals, square dancing, pistachios, and card games. Our grandmother Josephine was a magnificent matriarch, a woman of an amazing sass and strength, who will be sorely missed; a truly beautiful soul who was beloved by all. I wish her peace with our grandfather and all she loved whose deaths have preceded her. Rest in Peace, sweet Josephine. You will be forever in our hearts.
-Hannah Grisbeck

Grandma I love you always and will miss you. Thank you for all the happy memories we share. You will be in my heart forever.

I thought I already sent a msg but do not see it here. Aunt Jo was so wonderful, so loving and caring, and full of fun and laughter. In my younger years there were many visits to her home on Potomac. I can still see Grandma & Grandpa Schuessler (her parents, my grandparents) at her home during visits, bbqs, and holidays. I don't think Aunt Jo ever met a stranger; she was kind to everyone. And quite a gorgeous lady, even in her golden years. She is the last of that generation and I'm sure will be the party hostess up in heaven with all her brothers and other relatives that have gone before her. RIP, Aunt Jo. Hug my mom & dad and all the others for me, please. And I ask that you and all relatives keep a watchful eye over those of us still down on earth. Will always love you and also miss you. Thanks for the beautiful memories.
