Witterschein, Robert J. "Bob" baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at age 62. Beloved husband of Jill M. Witterschein (nee Warhoover) for 36 years. Dear son of M. Eileen and the late Roy Witterschein. Dear son-in-law of John and the late Ruth Warhoover. Dearest father of Rachel (Tony) Abram, Matthew (Taylor Doran) Witterschein and Sarah (Hailey Twietmeyer) Witterschein. Loving "Paw-Paw" of Delaney and Emery Abram and 5 furry four-legged grand-dogs. Dear brother of Marti (Bob) Stricker. Dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Bob was active in the St. Louis banking industry for 37 years--loved and respected by all who met him. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital or the American Heart Assn. are greatly appreciated.
Services: Visitation Sunday (6/17) at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) from 3 to 8 pm.
Funeral Mass Monday at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 401 So. Lindbergh Blvd. (63131) at 10:30 am. Services conclude at church.

We are in a state of shock as most everyone must be. Bob and I went to grade school together. Each and every time I saw him he was so full of life. My heart aches for Jill, his family and friends.
