James R. Fleming

James R. Fleming

March 23, 1949 - January 7, 2019
St. Louis, Missouri

Devoted son of the late Catherine and Edward Fleming. Beloved brother to the late Robert Fleming, Dolores Lake, and Shirley Huster. Dearest husband for 51 years to Sandy (Busch) Fleming. Loving father to Kimberly Diekroeger. Doting "Pa" to A.J. and Lexie Diekroeger. Dear son-in-law to Louise Busch. Dear uncle, brother-in-law, and loving friend.

We will always remember and miss the twinkle and trickiest gleam in his eyes and the smile on Jim's face. He was always the life of the party especially at his beloved Lake of the Ozarks where Jim cherished good times with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers , donations to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.

Where do you start with memories of Jim? More then you can count, I've know him since I was 15, the funniest, crazy guy enjoyed all our fun times at the lake. Love you Burnsy Baby 😢 Sandy you are in my prayers always.

I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Jim. I will always remember our Christmas Eve’s in the basement where we were belly up to the bar eating delicious homemade food and listening to his unforgettable, contagious laugh. I’ll also remember our time together at the lake and driving around in the back of the suburban to find me a snow cone! He made me feel loved and special when we were together...what a great uncle. I will carry him in my memories and heart forever.
