This letter regards my sincere appreciation and gratitude for your excellent service and respect during the visitation and funeral service for my father, Richard D. Mills. Even though the situation that led the Mills family to seek out your assistance was sad and difficult to endure, the care and detail that was provided offered comfort and peace in a beautiful Chapel with a lovely service.
My mother was struggling through the process of losing her husband of 47 years, and was especially concerned that he would look like “Rich.” When we approached his casket for the first time, I knew her fears were allayed when she took Mr. Richie's hand and stated, “thank you” over and over. Indeed, everything related to dad was as reverent as he would have wanted and far exceeded our expectations. In addition, every possible need was anticipated, every question was answered, and every process was completed with efficiency, grace and professionalism.
The extra attention and care that was given to my dad and to my family is greatly venerated and is due, in good part, to the services provided by the courteous and dutiful staff at Ziegenhein Funeral Homes. While I understand that the level of care is consistent with all your customers, you were able to make our family feel as if we received special and one-of-a-kind treatment.
Thank you again for your services on our behalf. Please know you have made this difficult transition much easier to bear, and you have allowed a peaceful memory of the event. Please also know I am happy to pass along my highest recommendations.
- Karen M.
My husband Jim and I want to thank you for the way you handled the funeral of his brother Thomas H. recently.
It was peaceful and comforting to us, you have a good and caring staff and that means a lot in time of sorrow.
Tom H. was a wonderful man and very special to both of us.
Again, we thank you and your staff for everything you did, it was greatly appreciated.

Just a note to let you know how much your help means to us. This is the first time I have had any experience in dealing with a death in the family and was overwhelmed with all you need to go through to get things resolved. Needless to say taking care of the insurance and expediting the death certificate made our time easier on all of us.
Also, I want to take this time to thank you for bringing your father to the viewing. This was a very kind and thoughtful thing to do specially in the inclement weather. I also want to thank the staff and all who helped make my mother and family comfortable. Everything was orderly and well executed. Thank you.

On behalf of our family, I would like to thank you for your generous donation to the St. Patrick's Center in our mom's name. Your kindness in this world of ours today is another proof of the general goodness in people. Your choice of the St Patrick's Center is so appropriate I am donating dome of Mom's clothes to them. They are one of my favorite charities.
We, the Grana kids, could not have asked for nay better care of our mother and ourselves than we were given by your staff. Their courtesy, helpfulness and knowledge were always apparent. It was like we were family. I cannot give you or your staff any higher praise than family.
As you know, Suzanne, is a tremendous asset to your company. I Wasn't sure how this was going to work and was scared at first. Suzanne put me right at ease and was there for me before I knew I needed something. It is difficult to go through the death of a parent, however Suzanne helped me tremendously. (On of Mom's favorite words: tremendously.)

We wish to express our appreciation to you for your assistance and guidance in the planning and implementation of Mom's funeral arrangements. Your professionalism and pleasant personality made the process easier on us.
Please extend to Ed Kurmann and the rest of the Ziegenhein Staff our appreciation for their assistance and kind words during a difficult time.
It was a pleasure doing business with the Ziegenhein organization.
May the good Lord bless you all.

Just wanted to commend Brad Martin at your South County location for a great job, during a very difficult and stressful time for my brothers and sisters. Brad was very professional, helful and sincere throughout the time we worked together. His famous words when I asked if we were going to have enough time to make it to the church and cemetery were “just let me take care of that... you have more important things to contend to.” When we arrived (late) at Jefferson Barracks, I asked if we could stop in front of the Admin Building to allow my father (86 years old) to use the restroom. Brad immediately said “sure” when I knew this was throwing another delay to the schedule.
Several of my brothers and sisters met Brad when plans were developed for my mother's funeral on Saturday (8/8).. all expressed similar comments.

On behalf of my mother and brother, thank you very much for your help in planning Mildred's funeral. The process went better than I expected thanks in large part to the kindness and patience you demonstrated to all involved.
I genuinely appreciate the professionalism and compassion you bring to your business. As my family prepares to meet the challenges ahead I am greatly relieved that we have people like you and your staff at Zigenheim & Sons Funeral Home to help us in our time of need.
Mildred received form your courier all the necessary paperwork and contracts. And my brother William is now organizing all of this into his binder so that he can retrieve the documents when they are needed. Once again, thank you for your help.

The Funeral Director is exceptional, very caring, detail oriented, personable, his guidance was very much appreciated. The Funeral Staff is wonderful and helpful. The facility was spotless, comfortable, and tasteful. They took care of every detail, to my relief. This is the 2nd family funeral I have had to make arrangements for in the last year. Both were at this funeral home. They are wonderful – they take all the stress out of planning a funeral and make you feel like family.

The facility was extremely clean and the ceremony was very nice. Roger took care of us like we were his family.

The director was very knowledgeable. He was very patient and compassionate to my family. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and professional.
We allow each family the option to feel out a comment sheet and we often receive letters, here is what they had to say:
No pressure, very helpful and very patient. The funeral staff is polite and courteous. The facility was very clean and close to home. My mother looked natural and her makeup was great, covered a large red bruise wonderfully.
